The Department of Corporations' is committed to providing consumers helpful information and resources on a variety of financial topics. Our consumer education materials are designed to educate consumers about the financial industry, products and services to help guide informed financial decisions.
You will find helpful hints, quick tips, and common-sense strategies to help protect and stretch your hard-earned dollars and to help plan your financial future.
Our two flagship consumer education efforts are our Seniors Against Investment Fraus (SAIF) and Troops Against Predatory Scams (TAPS) programs.

Consumer Services Office
For information about the Department of Corporations' licensees, please contact our Consumer Services Office at 1 (866) ASK-CORP or 1 (866) 275-2677. The Consumer Services Office can answer consumers' questions and assist in resolving disputes with our licensees. In the event that your complaint is against an entity that the Department does not license, we can provide you assistance in directing your complaint to the appropriate regulatory agency that supervises the financial services industry.
